Alki Auto Repair was the first of it's kind to become certified and receive the five star rating from King County's EnviroStars program back in 1998.
Green Globe Award Winner
King County Department of Natural Resources awared the Greend Globe Award to Alki Auto for 1998 for being a Leader in Market Development for Recycled Products.
The History of Alki Auto Repair
Alki Auto Repair was founded as Turner Shell and Service back in 1918, making it one of the first automotive repair facilities in West Seattle. At its original location across the street from Alki Beach in 1918, the road was more of a board walk made from wood and sand.
After a couple evolutions, including being a Chevron gas station with service, the shop became Alki Auto Repair Shop in West Seattle. It came under its current management team in 1998, and moved to its new location on Avalon Way in 2014.
